Delivery Policy

Delivery Area: Lomie Cakes delivers within Rustenburg and a radius of 15 km from our shop for a delivery fee of R100. If you are outside this radius, please contact us for possible arrangements.

Delivery Timing: Delivery is scheduled between 8am and 5pm on the agreed-upon date.

Customer Responsibilities: It’s the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate address and ensure someone is present to receive the order. If no one is available, we may attempt to reschedule, but additional fees may apply.

Liability: Once the order is delivered, Lomie Cakes is not responsible for any damages that occur after delivery.

Pickup Policy

Pickup Location & Hours: Customers may pick up orders from 238 Kerk street Rustenburg, Bodorp during business hours. Please bring confirmation of your order when picking up.

Handling Requirements: For safe transport, we recommend placing the cake on a flat surface, preferably in an air-conditioned vehicle. Any damages during transportation are the responsibility of the customer.

Unclaimed Orders: If an order is not picked up within 3 days, it may be disposed of, and refunds will not be available for unclaimed products.

Cake Handling Instructions

Temperature: Keep cakes at room temperature unless otherwise instructed. Chocolate and perishable cakes should be refrigerated.

Transporting Cakes: Place the cake on a flat surface in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle, avoiding abrupt stops to maintain structure.

Storing: For best results, store cakes in a cool, dry place. Cakes with fresh fruits or perishable ingredients should be refrigerated and consumed within 3 days.

Serving: Allow refrigerated cakes to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving for optimal flavor and texture.

Returns & Refunds

Returns: Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns are not accepted.

Refunds: Refunds are issued only in the case of significant quality issues identified at the time of pickup or delivery.

Cancellations: We do not offer refunds on cancellations. However, if the cancellation is made 14 days before the order’s due date, the payment will be held as a credit for future orders.
